Coastal Pacific Journey to Wine Region
Board the Coastal Pacific train in Christchurch for a spectacular journey across the Canterbury Plains and heading north along the coast. Fly over viaducts and traverse tunnels through coastal cliffs as you snake between the mountains and the sea. Enjoy morning tea onboard as you soak up the views from the comfort of your chair.
On arrival in Blenheim, you’ll be collected by your guide with a packed lunch from the train to eat as you head off for a tour of Marlborough’s wineries and cellar doors. Taste the famous Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and other varieties and learn more about why this region is so suited to wine growing.
